Court Astrologer to Elizabeth I Reveals the Language of the Angels
Dr. Dee the decoded the Language of Angels. The fact is, not many people are aware of Queen Elizabeth I’s favorite court magician, Dr. John Dee (1527 – 1608). In fact, Elizabeth didn’t hesitate to use all the tools at her disposal to keep England’s enemies at bay. Consequently, she relied heavily on her most skilled magician for supernatural help to ward of threats to the realm.
Moreover, Dr. Dee wasn’t only a magician. He was also an astute scholar, a brilliant mathematician, medical doctor, astronomer, chemist, engineer, theologian, and inventor.
John Dee Saves England from Invasion
In 1588, the Spanish Armada set sail to conquer England. Because of this threat to England, Elizabeth immediately turned to Dee for help. Elizabeth wanted to meet the attack head on but wisely consulted Dee first. Following this, Dee painstakingly poured over his astrological charts and then advised Elizabeth to keep England’s ships stationary. He assured her that a catastrophic storm would smash the Spanish fleet to pieces. Ultimately, Dee’s prediction saved England invasion.
In 1581 Dee began a series of experiments to explore contacting the spirit world. Specifically, he wanted to communicate with angels. Eventually, Dee did make contact with spiritual forces. These forces identified themselves as the Angels that had advised biblical patriarch, Enoch. What is more, this group tells Dee they have a language by which he can acquire sacred knowledge.

Dee and Kelley Begin Years of Assiduous Work
Dr. Dee along with his assistant, Edward Kelley (1555 – 1597), dedicated themselves to work with the Enochian Angels. For four long years, Dee and Kelley performed rituals to summon these powerful forces. Dee eventually mastered the magical “keys,” or “calls,” used to communicate directly with the Enochian Angels.
Specifically, the Angels suggested that Dee use the method of *scrying. It seems, Angelic language is made up of symbols. The symbols also provided a way for safely summoning an angel.
Ultimately, Dee created the the Sigillum Dei Aemeth to forge a link to the Angelic Realms. Not surprisingly, modern magicians utilize the sigil. As a consequence, not only did Dee understand their language but also the symbols, the angels used as a form of writing. Thus, the Enochian Alphabet came into being.

The Rituals Are Carefully Recorded
Following this, all steps were carefully recorded in Latin by Dee and Kelley. Surprisingly, many of these diaries survived. The Ashmolean Museum at Oxford, and the Trinity college library, in Cambridge, England, share guardianship of the diaries.
As a matter of fact, numerous linguist professionals proclaim that the Angelic tongue as a genuine language. In particular, it contains its own grammar and syntax.
Sadly, much of his knowledge was soon forgotten after Dee’s death in 1608 but was revived by the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn in 1887 for the purpose of teaching principles of occult science and magic.
Modern magician, Lon Milo DuQuette says of Dee’s achievements, “The Most Remarkable Magical Tale Ever Recorded.”
Lon Milo DuQuette initiated an experiment with a select group of followers and felt they had been successful in contacting this particular group of angels. The participants received a plethora of information from members adept in scrying. This included revelations about the bizarre appearance of certain Enochian angels. They also were able to envision strange landscapes where this group of angels resided and gleaned fascinating knowledge about their own past lives.
Where’s the Proof?
Although Dee and Kelley recorded dairies, there is no verifiable proof that the summoning of angels by Dee is actual fact. However, it seems it can be a personal or group endeavor for any dedicated souls to embark on. Specifically, the ritual involves scrying through which individuals achieve visionary access to spiritual realms. In fact, seekers need to have respect, great patience, and an attitude of sanctity about initiating communication with Angels or will most likely meet with failure. The author is not sure if the methods Dee incorporated can be used for any group of angels but the “keys” or “summoning calls” must be similar.
Be advised that it’s essential to acquire expert advice before attempting to angels through magic. Perhaps Lon Milo DuQuette has some advice.
